Award-winning director Khodad Jalali to begin work on new feature in September.
Jalali’s latest feature ‘Seven Days till Heaven’ is set to launch pre-production in late September, according to the filmmaker.
Written and directed by Jalali, the flick will be filmed in Greece with a socio-philosophical take on the infamous terrorist group known as Daesh (ISIS).
The director also gave an update on his film ‘Woman With a Wooden Cart’, stating that the film is currently undergoing work on the sound effects after recently wrapping up the editing stage.
In 2017, the talented filmmaker’s 2015 film ‘A Baby with Red Socks’ received three awards at the Mediterranean Film Festival Cannes in France.
The flick was awarded Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Original Score at the 2nd edition of the event.
Jalali’s film was also won Best Director awards at the Helsinki Festival in Finland as well as the Santiago International Film Festival in Chile.
